This project was conceived at Panaca, located in the historic centre of Aix-en-Provence. Panaca is a speciality coffee shop run by a group of enthusiasts and friends. During a conversation, Miguel told me that he’d drawn a few Pokémon-style characters, but using the utensils and ingredients he employs to make the drinks on his menu. And so, from there, this project was born: to create all these characters and turn them into illustrations and personalised cards.
